This challenging medium advanced swing original hails from Chicago bass trombonist and writer, Thomas Matta. Recorded by the Rob Parton Jazz Tech Big Band on their CD Eleventh Hour Live! (Seabreeze SB-2110), it was commissioned by the Big Time Jazz Orchestra led by Randy Lee. Tenor and trumpet carry the solos, and there's plenty of room for the drummer to shine throughout.
